Dr. Chad Thompson, OD
Dr. Thompson graduated from Beloit Jr. Sr. High School in 1991, Kansas State University in 1995, and Southern College of Optometry in 1999.
Dr. Thompson’s practice emphases are in primary eyecare, glaucoma, ocular pathology, and contact lenses.
Dr. Thompson is among the 2% of Optometrists nationwide to be awarded Diplomate status by the American Board of Optometry.
Dr. Thompson’s community involvement includes the Beloit Lions Club, the United States Air Force Reserve, and Beloit City Council from 2001-2008. Dr. Thompson is active in the American Optometric Association, Heart of America Contact Lens Society, and Kansas Optometric Association.
He has a son, Phillip Benjamin, and two daughters, Sophia Maria and Vivian Appolonia.
Dr. Kurt Olson, OD
Dr. Olson graduated from Decatur Community High School (Oberlin, KS) in 2007. He received his bachelor’s degree in agronomy from Kansas State University in 2011. He then graduated in the top 10% of his class from Midwestern University/Arizona College of Optometry in 2016.
Dr. Olson’s practice emphases are ocular pathology, primary eye care, and contact lenses. He also has expertise in ocular trauma and children’s vision.
Dr. Olson is a member of the American Optometric Association, Beloit Country Club, Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society, Heart of America Contact Lens Society, and the Kansas Optometric Association.
Dr. Olson enjoys spending time with his wife (Rachelle), hunting, K-State sports, and restoring classic cars.
